finntroll
You saw right folks! Windows 7 is here to crash the day. My error message is something with Xlive.dll is missing. So I thought I only have to install Xlive then but the darn thing crashes before it even starts...And while installing the game I get an error message telling me that .net framework 3.0 is needed and that wont install either. I have Windows 7 Beta 7000. Tips and tricks are welcome =) Cheers!
Michlo
I have a thread on the Nexus regarding overall experience with W7 but you'd be better off using the W7 forums for problems like yours. I have a Fallout 3 thread over there in fact: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums...03-65209e70af76 Good luck.

falseflag
I have Fallout running fine on WIndows 7 beta. On the install, I also had the same issue as you with the dotnet stuff, but the game continued to install without any other issues. My big problem now is the new Fallout 3 update version 1.1 because it screws up all my game saves!
