NovaSilisko
I've been trying to get a custom model into F3 for 2 days now. As of day 2: :wallbash: In GECK, the texture looks completely perfect, normal map, color, everything. In game? A f**ked up color-changing blob. It takes the textures from the surrounding area and plasters it on itself (EG, The suit I was wearing, the ground below, etc) I tried to make a new BSA Archive to put the files in... will it even let me make the archive? Nope! It simply brings up a file browser so I can "add" things to the archive, yet doesn't allow me to select any files. So yeah. I am genuinely mad. Any help would be greatly appreciated. SpeedyB64
Is your Fallout.ini set up? If not you will get texture glitches. You need to set "binvalidateolderfiles 0" to "binvalidateolderfiles 1" in your fallout.ini in My Documents/My Games/Fallout3 If you have done that than you have an issue with your texture paths. Make sure that your textures are where they need to be and that your nif points to them.
RandianHero
I noticed a similar problem with the Desert Eagle mod, and that was related to the fact that the textures weren't in the right place because of the parent folders they were in. You want to make sure that your texture is in the data/textures/ directory.
NovaSilisko
Ah, forgot to reply that I fixed it. Exporting via the 3DSMax NIF exporter fixed everything.
