Big red and white exclamation mark replacing all mage hoods.

EDIT: I figured it out, I had some files hiding in my Mod Organizer's override folder that were trying to replace default models without an ESP.

 

So I tried installing this mage robe replacer using Mod Organizer.

 

After running the game, every female mage robe and hood model was replaced by a big red box with a white exclamation point in it.

I disabled the mod, and that didn't work. Only after removing all traces of the mod from my computer were the robes fixed.

 

But, all of the hoods are still these red boxes with white exclamation points in it. Verifying the game cache on steam did nothing. I also tried installing a separate mage hood replace as a pseudo fix, but that also didn't work. Completely different load orders also have the same problem. I'm honestly stumped here.

Did you ever figure this out? I am certain that the issue, at least for me, is from the hoods (if not also cloaks) from the Wet and Cold mod. I used it for a long time with no issues until I started a new game. Some of the textures in the hoods and cloaks are also glitching out on me. I haven't noticed the red block with all of the wearables from Wet and Cold, but some of the hoods definitely do it. Any solutions that don't involve completely deleting and reinstalling ever single thing on my PC that is Skyrim & Skyrim Mod related, which sounds like the only thing anyone else has come up with, and which isn't really a solution. I'd rather never play Skyrim again.
