Allzumenschliches
Good evening, I will try to summarize succinctly below the exact nature of my troubles:The Issue: after installing a round of unrelated (i.e. not obviously visual) mods via MO2, I came upon a graphical error as seen in the attached image below. Attempted remedies: Thus far, I have disabled individually any of the possible suspects to no avail, which largely included simple UI mods and extensions. Secondly, I went through entirely reinstalling my enb, which made no impact. Even after attempting to load the game via SKSE through my manager with all but the minimum mods, the glitch persisted. Finally, I resorted to effectuating a clean install of the game via Steam, which, while solving the issue for the vanilla game, had no effect once the mods were re-enabled (even when limiting load order to a few script extenders that would have no bearing on the visuals). Key questions: First, what could possibly be at the root of this error, and how could it persist even after disabling the relevant mods? Secondly, and more to the crux of the matter, how can I even begin to diagnose the issue when the previously described steps have failed? I must thank in advance any soul who sees this query and sacrifices even a moment of their time to provide input. Best regards, Allzumenschliches *Edit: I can't seem to post the image however im working on converting it to a workable link.
anjenthedog
what could possibly be at the root of this error after installing a round of unrelated (i.e. not obviously visual) mods via MO2 the answer to the first quote is the second. If you are completely unable to load the current save, load a save created prior to installing those mods.
