I can't start a "new game", with no mods installed.

Hey all, I've encountered a peculiar error that kinda boggles my mind. So as the title states I can't start a "new game" - when I try to start a new game I just see the skyrim logo and hear the music looping. What's weird though is that this only happens when I run the game through MO2. I've disabled all of my mods, and when I run the skselauncher from my skyrim root folder I still have my enb and the game will start, I just can't start a new game when running skse in MO2.

Why didn't I encounter this issue earlier? Well, believe it or not installing Skyrim Unbound made it so that I never encountered this bug because for some reason starting a new game with skyrim unbound worked and I could play normally, but the second I try to start a new game normally I can't. Also, for the record I don't intend to start a new game normally ever as the opening scene is pretty boring and poorly done, but for some reason "Alternate Start" and "Opening Scene Overhaul" don't work while Skyrim Unbound does.

Any ideas? I honestly am out of options and no one else seems to be encountering this issue.

(Yes, my skyrim is up to date and so is my SKSE otherwise I couldn't have launched SKSE without mods...)

Any and all help is appreciated as long as it isn't "muh git gud"

Edit: Alright so I'd still appreciate answers but after some testing it appears as if even with the mods uninstalled there's not enough memory to process my game when starting a new one. If I start via skselauncher and then load via MO2, it seems to work though. Kinda weird though.
