bassakwards
Hello All! I run skyrim on a 7970 currently. I have a 1920x1200 now, but may go to x1440 in the future. I average 40-50 fps outside, and use about 2600-2900 vRAM max. I use tons of high res mods, ENB, SSAO etc... While the game generally runs well, I do get stuttering when moving the camera on the x-axis. Also, when I record video, often it is choppy. Especially when there is fire somewhere in the scene. I was thinking of upgrading to 670 4GB SLI. Does anyone have a similar setup? Would it be worth it? Thanks in advance!
dwellufool
Can't you put the 7970 in crossfire? that might be a better option than one more graphics card on it's own i'm also thinking with all of the graphical demands you may be putting on it the engine might just be struggling to handle it
bassakwards
Thanks for your reply! I am not a fan of crossfire, and I have a Twin Frozr model. I would go with two 670 blower models that would be a bit more friendly to the rest of my setup. Sorry, I was not clear at first. I am wondering if the second card would help with the video recording. Thanks again!
