zDraiike
Hi!I need help for making an utility tool for Skyrim LE and SE.What I want to achieve is reading a .SKSE file and print the plugins list inside of it.Also, I don't own LE, so I can't make this tool 100% working without help :smile:I need someone to send me a sample like in this picture: (.skse file read with HxD - Freeware Hex Editor and Disk Editor) This is one .SKSE file from my Skyrim SE Saves folder. As you can see, on offeset 40 there is a "G" which Int16 value is 7751 which match the length of the plugins listed below. Now, on offset 49 there is the first plugin loaded which is, of course, Skyrim.esmIf you go straight down reading bytes from offset 49 to offset 7751 you will reach the end of the plugins list, which is what I want to achieve. thumbincubation
Don't be so quick to assume nobody wants to help you. In my case, for example, I have absolutely zero idea what I'm even looking at, let alone what it should ultimately do or how to achieve it. Aside from this, being a response specifically to the perception of unwillingness to help, I normally just don't answer posts where I can't be of at least some assistance. I do that so I don't clutter up help threads with a bunch of shrug/idk/what? responses, in which actually helpful responses can become lost. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Also, bear in mind that not every member checks the forums regularly. At some point, someone who knows what you're trying to achieve will see this and chime in, but it may take a while.
