MatrixCoder
My PC broke down around a week ago due to a PSU overload or something and it fried the SSD and my HDD storage units circuit board. Luckly nothing else was BBQed in the process.I have a new 1TB HDD and PSU, I was wondering if I should get a new SSD or stick to HDD. I haven't installed Skyrim ever since then. Is there any large difference between HDD and SSD when it comes to playing Skyrim in terms of load times? and with Mods installed? ElMonstero29
Yes, I've noticed a MASSIVE difference in load times! I have no exact numbers to throw at you but I can tell you that skyrim on my hdd takes approximately 25-30% longer to load. That makes a HUGE difference in a game where you spend 1/5 of your total play time in loading screens... Seriously Skyrim is one of the only games I own that my ssd actually makes a real difference in. Other games include: Witcher 2, bf3, and Shogun 2 I recommend you make this one of the games you put on the good ole ssd
