You already have the American and Chinese elements in there and the wastes are about as close as you're going to get to a futuristic wild west. I mean I'm not expecting a full re-make or anything but even just a Browncoat or Jayne’s hat for clothing and Mal's pistol or Vera for weapons would be amazing. I know it’s a lot to ask for and if I had the knowhow I would gladly do it myself but as it stands I have the modding ability of a brick wall. Common Browncoats! The Regulator Coat is already a brown coat, Jayne's hat is freckin' classic, Mal's pistol wouldn't stand out, and Vera could easily be some freaky unique Chinese Assault Rifle. Perhaps you could recruit one of the crew for various missions or find a home on Serenity.Or YOU become a member of the Crew for some Missions/Quests? Negotiate some trade with the nearby village, find some medicine for Dr Simon Tan or River or bring patients to him. Find some tools for Kaylee or escort some customers for Inara. Serenity makes a perfect base, since there is everything you might need. I wouldn't escort customers for Inara, I'd be her only customer. ;) Personally I think a home that has the same layout as Serenity's interior would be cool (ie because making a model for the actual ship would probably be really difficult while the interior by itself wouldn't).
