Shadow99wulf
So I've been playing through my first time on PC. I started with some mods, watched some vids added more mods...... then somewhere along the way I goofed and lost track of what I was supposed to be using to track my mods. That wasn't the end of the world and things seemed to be ok, until I added a Glass armor pack today and couldn't figure out the right software and just did it manually. It seemed to be ok except when I started playing (thank goodness its right beside creeper) I keep getting attacked by assassins, 2 hit me, I sell their armor and before i can sleep enough to get rid of their stuff 2 more show up, and 2 more and 2 more....the attached pic shows where I'm at after half an hour of playing... if I've done this right. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I did a search on this forum and didn't come up with an answer. Any help or even some laughs at me would be appreciated. Tchos
Assassin attacks are included in one of the official expansions that are active by default. Once you hit a certain level, they start attacking as a hook to bring you into the expansion content. At the time it came out, it made sense, because people would be adding the expansion to the vanilla game and would be expecting something new to happen, but now, when new players are being dropped into the game with all expansions active by default, it's more of an annoyance. I used a mod that stopped the attacks until I was ready to go play the expansion content. https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Tribunal:Dark_Brotherhood_Attacks Edited February 25, 2021 by Tchos
