resurrecting merchants without console command

Is there any way to resurrect caravan merchants without the console commands? I am running a Win 7 machine and have been unable to get the console to work despite doing every fix I found on google. I think Lucky Harith has been killed since the Enclave has came on the scene. I've check on Crazy Wolfgang, Crow, and Doc Hoff, but Lucky is MIA, presumed KIA.

From what i know of the game the console is the only way to resurrect an npc or to create a clone of sorts.

 

For some reason though some npc's get trapped if the collision comand is used to excessively.

 

I don't know what the key is for console activation on Windows 7 but for Vista it is the ~ key.

Don't bother, even with console commands it will not work 100%. You can resurrect the guy, but the link to his inventory (Pack-Brahmin) and to the Quest will be broken. Means he will not trade and does not show up on the map. For the game he basically stays dead :(

It's interesting you should say that, I had 1 Protector Casdin inside of Fort Independence, that wouldn't come out and a Clone outside that I had to make to even turn in tech to the Outcasts.

 

I also found Doc Hoff dead after a Super Mutant party killed him near me, I made a clone of him and he still had the inventory because the Pack brahmin survived the attack. Is this a Fluke then ?

Clone? Interesting, what commands did you use?. Was it possible to trade with him normally?
