greggorypeccary
I thought so, But in a moment of panic I thought I did something while converting my esp. to an esm. Thanks for helping to ease my worried mind.G.
greggorypeccary
I added a building into the worldspace and navmeshed for the doors etc . Did it cause a small conflict with the doors to other buildings in the area? One that will be resolved once I convert to an esm. ? I am hoping that is the case.G. viennacalling
What are you seeing in FNVEdit that makes you believe you have a conflict?
greggorypeccary
I am not well versed in fonvedit but When I check my mod for errors i get a message that says: [00:00] DATA - Flags -> <Unknown: 7>[00:00] Above errors were found in :WastelandNV "Mojave Wasteland" [WRLD:000DA726][00:00] Above errors were found in :GRUP Top "WRLD"[00:01] Above errors were found in :[05] Novac Public Library.esp[00:01] All Done! upon further investigation I find that ([00:00] Above errors were found in :WastelandNV "Mojave Wasteland" [WRLD:000DA726]) is refering to doors in the cell that I placed my building in. Doors near but not touched by my navmeshing. The Data Flags unknown 7 is a mystery to me thus far. I have not even looked at that yet. Thank you for your helpG. ps I have through perserverance fixed several other errors, I am teaching myself as best i can. I try not to bother the forum with questions that i can figure out myself if I try hard enough. Edited April 16, 2013 by greggorypeccary
viennacalling
The Data Flags unknown 7 is a mystery to me thus far. That is simply FNVEdit saying it does not know what the data in that field means. Based off the snippet you provided there is no clear indication of a problematic error. The snippet does not indicate any doors, so I am unable to help with that. If FNVEdit thinks that you have doors in your mod that you feel you have not modified, then perhaps they are dirty edits?
greggorypeccary
here is the whole thing The doors were in the cell before i added anything. I never touched them or manipulated them in any way. All I did was alter the navmesh in the cell. I know that causes funkiness and was hoping that this was just some of that. Which would be fixed once I convert to an esm.http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/images/49695-1-1366078224.jpg Edited April 16, 2013 by greggorypeccary
rickerhk
If you want to use an old version of FNVEdit, use 3.0.15, not 3.0.10.The current version is 3.0.29 and it works fine. Has a new memory model, improved error checking, etc.
greggorypeccary
I was using 3.0.29 until today when for some reason it would not open . I thought that since it said experimental that I would go back to an older version. On your reccomendation I will give it another shot.ThanksG.
