Lap Posted January 20, 2009 Share Posted January 20, 2009 It's pretty frustrating watching people min/maxing their votes on files. There are people who are clearly voting unfairly and trying to make their vote matter more by using extreme ratings. I just had someone vote on a file of mine with a 1 and a comment of "mod has bugs". On noticing that this person has only ever voted using 1's or 10's, with little or no comments, I felt they should be reported. However, it looks like the report function is totally broken.Also, if people are going to give 1's I feel there should be a minimum number of characters needed in their comments explaining why the mod deserved such an abysmal score, but that's another issue altogether. I just checked, and you need to be logged into the forums for the report function to work, if not it asks you to log in....that login is for the forums and will allow the report to go through. The page says, "This form is to be used ONLY for reporting objectionable content, etc and is not to be used as a method of communicating with moderators for other reasons." Where am I to report people abusing the system by: 1. Extreme min/maxing of votes without justification.2. Users who are created for the sole purpose to giving competitors ratings of 1's.3.
