Okay, Just to make it clear to *atleast* everyone who reads these boards..

DO NOT place Modded items on a Original Fallout 3 Merchant, EVER.

95% Of the mods that place something on a vendor, are usually MOIRA or that guy in Rivet city, And that problem with this is that THEY ALL CONFLICT, Any mod that touches Moira or any other vendors list, will conflict with another one doing the same thing.

So yeah just putting the word out... its really annoying only being able to have one mod that places things on Moira :\

If I added an item to the stim pack list, would it affect another mod if i did the same thing?

As long as your item ID's are unique their can be multiple changes to the same object.

A conflict does not automatically happen just because 2 people edit the same object. The conflict takes place when two people edit the same option of the same object. If both people edit the damage of the same gun = problem. However if one person changes the damage and one person changes the range... the engine should load both changes.

If you are only adding items to a loot list then if you get 5 mods that add items to the loot list, there should be no problem.

If you use Fallout 3 Edit it makes more sense. You can actually see the changes made and it will highlight actual conflicts.

If your having confliction issues then you most likely did not add the item or whatever you added correctly, because What you said about the merchants and the modded items being added to their inventory and conflicting is not true.

Go download my mod called the eliminator which is a modified shotgun I created and added to moira Browns Inventory and there have been no problems with it.

Wow thank you. I did that add vendor container to moira's shop a while back. And I thought it's going to cause problems if I added a dozen or more item mods who would do the same, so I stopped doing that and turned to the item list.

This is incorrect.
