LE Converting a Katana to a Dai katana

Can anyone give me information or a step by step method to convert a katana into a dai katana (one handed to two handed) blade. I want to keep the same appearance however functionality would obviously change. I have beaten myself up on this the last couple of weeks only to get numerous errors and problems with skyrim.

 

I am trying to take an Immersive Weapons blade and convert the Dragonguard Katana into a two handed weapon for my own use.

Try looking at some tutorials on the internet. I am experienced with the creation kit, but I find that the memory that it handles is terrible and sometimes causes freezing when I have attempted to change something like that. It should be simply done, thinking about it. Good luck ^^

I have been checking the internet but here is what I run into. Once I make certain changes with the Creation kit, I am to change the mesh to go to a back weapon. NifScope will do this, however when I get to Nifscope

there is no way I see to load the file to make these changes. There is something I must be missing in the Creation Kit that allows me to save the file to computer and then take that file and load to Nifscope. You can see I am in a lot of trouble here.

 

I been at this a long time, I even e-mailed Insanity whose Mod this belongs to and asked him to make it a two handed weapon. Sent a donation, but was largely ignored. This can't be hard, but I guessI am too much odf a newb.

 

Anyone, please help.

do you just want a two hand katana or the ability to swap between one and two hands?

 

if it is just a two hand katana you could try Creatable Akaviris Weapons or JaySuS Swords as both have 2 hand katanas.

 

if you want to be able to swap between 1 and 2 handsthen check out Longclaw - A Bastard Sword Mod and see if you can work out how he did it
