Zanfib32
I have been encountering this bug on many npcs. Searching on google for "skyrim gray face bug" returns results regarding custom npcs, however the npcs that I have been seeing with the bug are default ones. I have disabled every mod that I can think of that might be causing the issue. Does anyone know how to fix this bug?
Noldorakk
Hello, have you used Apachii Sky Hair for NPC before that ?
Zanfib32
I did have sky hair still enabled. Is it sky hair that causes the problem?
Noldorakk
Hum... I was thinking grey face was happened only with the NPC mod activate... Anyway, I think you could try this manip : 1) Open the CK2) Tick Apachii Sky Hair Style mod as active plugin, and Apachii Sky hair as master file.3) Wait as it load.4) Go to the character box, (by default, on the left) and open, for exemple, Nord Race.5) Select ALL the NPC in the box, and then do Alt + F4. It will say you will do a facegen data export. Say yes.6) Do the same with all the other human race (Breton, Imperial, redguard etc)7) When it's done, DON'T SAVE and DON'T CLOSE the CK. Go in your skyrim folder, Data, textures, actors, characters, FaceGen Data. Erase all the files in it. (don't forget to do a backup, who know...)8 ) Save in the CK.9) Do the same with Apachii Sky hair style Elves as an active plugin, and with only the elves races... Hope it will help you, I have tried to explain that but I don't really know how to tell that in english..Sorry... You may find more and better information on the mod page : http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/15411 Edited April 17, 2013 by Noldorakk

Ubertwelve
i got this bug once when i installed/uninstalled a mod that changes npc weight mid play through, also if you use a face re-texture mod combined with a body re-texture mod it can do this in certain lighting conditions, hope that helps
