Missing hand textures

Hello,

 

I am playing skyrim with several mods, one being the UNP body Mod with the Fitness body mod. Everything was good but all of a sudden since yesterday there is a gap above both of my character's hands. I did not add any new mods or change anything to the game or in-game. I tried different things like sheathing and unsheathing weapons, magic, different armors but the gaps remain. I also tried to unistall and re-install the two mods but nothing changed.

 

I had the Dovahkin relaxes too mod installed but my character would have a black face on my first load of the game. When I quit and re-loaded, it would return to normal. I have since unistalled the mod. However, this was last week. The gaps above the hands started yesterday.

 

Has anyone experienced this and can give me some advice? Thanks in advance.

First verify integrity of the game cache with Steam. Open Steam, right click on skyrim, properties, then find the tab with verify integrity button and click it... wait for it to finish and it will tell you if you had any errors. If you did... retry and see if gaps are gone. If they're still there, make sure you have all the Unofficial Patches for Skyrim as well as any DLCS and HD packs that you have.

 

NOTE: You're ALWAYS going to have 1 error, from a language file... this is normal... if you have 2 or more errors, Steam should automatically download the missing meshes or textures. THIS WON'T HARM YOUR MODS. Steam only looks for MISSING files... it doesn't remove files that aren't supposed to be there, it also doesn't overwrite files that are there.

Turns out it was the armor that caused the gaps. When I would remove the armor my hands would return to normal. It is the leather huntress armor.

hello I am having problems with my textures when i pull out swords. it sort of phases out of existance help? EDIT: nevermind all i just had to reequip armor. Mods can you delete this?
