Gamerbird
A little poem I wrote earlier today to keep my mind off other things that were going on. Your body may no longer be with us,but your mind and spirit will be.Staying with us, inside our hearts, inside our minds. Your memories will last forever, embedded in our hearts.Pictures of you, back when you were young, loving, caring for all. You shall live forever, never forgotten, may you rest in peace. jaosals42
Nice poem, Gamerbird. Really emotional sounding; great use of words to convey the message of someone departed. Who did you base this off of (or was it just something you made without references)?

Gamerbird
It was in memory of my Nan who's funeral was held yesterday.I wrote this during the funeral in my head to keep it off the emotions. Thanks all.
Sniperwhere
Very nice. Such emotion in this. When I read this, I was reminded of my Grandma who I lost not too long ago. Reminded me of all the good things that came from her and all the memories I've had. Thank you.
pedantic
A Eulogy fit for every nan. I too lost my nan recently - just before Xmas.I wish I'd known that the last time I saw her would be just that, the last time.I miss her dearly so my heart goes out to you Gamerbird. Your words surely give strength to each and every one of us, thanks for that.
