vforvic
You have to use the GECK and create a custom Race. First though you have to extract the Textures for Rotten Raider to a custom location. In the Rotten Raider Mod archive you will see a path that says "textures/characters/raider" and one that says "textures/characters/femaleraider". One of course is for male and one for female textures. Take the one that corresponds to your NPC's sex and copy that one to a custom location. It is a good idea to create your own custom directory off of textures to use for ALL your custom work. So yours could say "textures/greatoe/characters/rottenraider/female" for example if you were using the female textures. As long as you put your directory structure under textures it does not matter what you name the path. On the GECK menu at the top go to Character and then Race. You will see all the Races used in the game and the Raider Races have Raider after the name such as "CaucasianRaider". In this example I will tell you to Right-Click on "CaucasianRaider" and say Duplicate. You can then rename the Duplicate whatever you want. Then on the Duplicate click the Body Data Tab. This is where you change all the Texture paths to point to your custom directories you made. Keep in mind that the Checkbox below that says Male or Female determines whether you are editing the male or female texture path. Do the same thing on the Face Data Tab for the Face Textures. You only have to do the Head Texture on this Tab though. Now in the GECK go to the NPC you have created, or whatever base game NPC you want to have this Texture, and open them to Edit by Double-Clicking their name. On the very first Tab "Traits" you will see "Race" at the very top. Change that to your custom Race and that's it. Now only that NPC will have the new body and face texture. Keep in mind that you have to already have the Type 3 Body Mesh installed in this case. As a side note this is also how you make only one character have custom body Meshes. Everything is done the same except you edit the "Model" paths on the Body Data Tab. Keep in mind though that with most custom Body Meshes you have to also have custom Body Textures and normally you don't worry about the "Face" Tab. I almost forgot. Don't forget to save your edit as a esp by saying File - Save and giving it a name. Then remember to go and click it active in your mod list with it at the bottom of the list.
