Hexlicious Posted March 2, 2021 Share Posted March 2, 2021 (edited) It's the retexture of fallen logs, they look great but aren't lined up correctly with the flora and mushrooms around them so in the end up looking really out of place.Figured out the texture I am looking for is S3DTrees_treepineforestlog01.nif but searching for this leaves me zero results which makes me think it might be packaged in a different file somewhere, is there any way to access the correct file to get rid of this specific texture? I'm not a texture/3d model expert, but I'm afraid you can't just get rid of it.It's a custom mesh, so deleting it will cause problems whenever the plugin calls for it (because there is no vanilla mesh with the same name and path).If you don't want to find all references in the plugin and change them to a vanilla mesh, you can place the vanilla file for these logs as a loose file with the same name and path to the game. The vanilla file of cause must also be extracted from the original game bsa.Decided to scrap it after I found multiple other weird textures all over the place, might be a compatibility issue or me and the mod author have serious different opinions on what makes a good looking texture.
