Callighan
Ahh, I see what you're saying. According to Fallout Lore, yes all ghouls need some form of radiation to survive, even if it's just a bit. That is why they tend to build communities nearby radiation sources. Oops. Pardon me then. Come to think of it, you've made quite a lore-serving mod. And looking from the concept, I think it's pretty much balanced.
Highsight
Thanks, I try to keep my stuff as accurate as possible. I might actually make it a 5hp per second loss instead, as well as 7 minutes instead of 4.
CowgirlFromHell
Thanks, I try to keep my stuff as accurate as possible. I might actually make it a 5hp per second loss instead, as well as 7 minutes instead of 4.That sounds a little more reasonable. But, I was just thinking, how about instead of losing health when not being exposed to radiation, how about constantly losing a certain amount of radiation every 10 seconds or so and die when rads go under a certain level? Because, well, if you're in the middle of combat you're going to die really fast if you're constantly losing HP AND trying to find a radiated source. And if you choose to do this maybe you could add radiation packs to the game which increases your rads by a certain amount based on your medical skill (Does basically the opposite of RadAway). If you don't know how to do that, I would certainly be happy to do that for you. And as a balancer, maybe you should make the charisma -4 instead of -2. It's a much bigger penalty and would make some people be a little more hesitant in becoming a ghoul. EDIT: These are just some ideas I came up with... if you don't understand what I'm describing (my english kinda sucks) then just say so.
Skree000
Drop charisma to 1 for ghouls. Nobody wants to hug a ghoul! Drop STR by 2 because ghouls are frail and weak, look at them skin n bones! Drop STA by 3 because ghouls break easily! Have you ever punched a ghoul? They fall into pieces LOL I think that should be enough penalties for now... OH also make Purified water hurt you :)
Highsight
@CowgirlFromHell Genius, pure genius! I just spent the past half an hour modifying my script. Now, you will no longer die when you get 1000 rads, but you will die when you have 0. Every second you lose one rad (which means in 16 minutes, you will die unless you get some radiation). I will also probably set it up so you get some form of poisoning when you have 200 or less radiation. Thanks so much for this idea. :) @Skree000 Ghouls are hardly THAT weak, dropping to STR is going overboard, and dropping 3 END is REALLY going overboard, I might however drop the CHR a bit more than two points, I'll think more on that later. Ralkahn
Yeah, I think dropping them all the way to 1 charisma is a bit overboard. Charisma is more than just looks, remember (really, it's practically nothing to do with looks... Stupid D&D!)
mazakala
At least in Tactics Ghouls have less strenght than humans, but more perception and luck.

OMH
Instead of them dieing when they reach 0 rads, something that seems very unlikely as you do seem them running around as wastelander no where enar radiation (well I have). why not give them almost a pernament Radiation Poisoning Effect So that being a ghoul means, -1 Cha, -1 End, -1 AGI Another thought, What if the longer they have no radiatuion they have an effect simmilar to that of Chem Addiction....
