[mod request] auto equip shield

maybe there is already a mod for this. having shield always equip for single handed weapons would be ok. also along these lines might be a "next weapon"/"previous weapon" button. i know "R" sheaths. not the same thing.

how about a saved loadout mod? this would solve the multi button pressing every time we need to fight with a sword or whatever.

I second this. Having the shield equip to the same bind as the 1-H weapon would be ideal, you would only have to use the one keybind to equip both.

In the new Valheim+ Mod there is a setting for autoequip your strongest (block value) shield in your inventory

I'd also like to see this. V+ implemented the feature but I'm migrating my servers away from it. I'd love to see a stand-alone implementation.

I don't know of a mod that does this, besides V+ which I don't use. The next best thing that I know of is the Equip Wheel mod here. When you use the wheel to equip a one-hand weapon it equips the shield as well. Very handy, but you have to get used to using that method.

well it's gotta be out there somewhere because if anyone thinks V+ isn't a collection of stolen mods they're crazy.
