Cannot play this game.

I can't play. I've downloaded tons of things to help, all it does is make the loading screen taking a little longer before crashing. I've previously played it on this computer before, but I used an EXE file to make it work. I have downloaded the unofficial fallout patch, along with a couple others. It just won't start!~ I really wanna be able to play, thanks in advance.

There's not really a lot people can do to help with such a vague description.

 

Is your problem that you cannot play the game at all?

Have you done a completely clean install of the vanilla game and is it there that the problem starts?

Are you trying to load an old save or trying to start a new game?

 

Try deleting local content and mods first and reinstalling to see if the game will run without any additional files. If this doesn't work it's a problem with your computer. In which case make sure everyhing is up to date.
