sarantine
Hello all! I would like to make a request to any modders out there. There is an armour I would quite like made (picture below). The armour is the Grey Warden armour form the upcoming Bioware game Dragon Age Origins. As I have no real modding experience I don't know how difficult to make it might be, but I would love to have this armour. Sorry if I am being too demanding. Thank you for reading this post. Also please respond, even if its to tell me that I'm asking too much. Feedback is always nice :P
sarantine
Look, I've attempted to make this myself but Blender just won't work properly on my laptop. Could somebody please just respond?
TotallyNotToastyFresh
Well it looks a lot like steel armor. A simple retexture would probably get the job done, you could also use lich king pauldrons.
SirMagus
Yeah, the Armor would be a retextured Steel Armor. The shield could be an Akaviri Shield just retextured. Helmet also kinda looks like a retextured Akaviri helmet. The Sword could be so many different ones since we can't really see how it looks in this pic. sarantine
I'm not bothered about the sword or the shield. I see where your coming from with the Lich King pauldrons and they would most definitely suit (just a case of swapping which side they're on and flattening the right one. Something would need to be done to the steel to add a reflective texture to it. In addition all the detail and patterns on the steel would have to be removed. The skirt of the cuirass would need to have the chain mail extended so it completely covers the groin. Quite bit more would need to be done as well. Sadly I have no idea how to do any of this, and all my attempts at making armour in Blender have failed (the .nifs aren't where they should be). Again I would be most grateful if anyone would like to take this up.
