Crash outside Falkreath

I'm having a lot of trouble with my game crashing every time I walk down this path and approach the Nord woman wearing armor that insults you.

 

I first encountered this while doing the quest with Barbas. He was leading me down the road, we encountered the two bandits on the structure that bridges the road with falling rock traps. I take them out, then a short while later we encounter a frostbite spider. Around the next turn, there's a Nord woman wearing heavy armor with a sword and shield that insults you, and you can intimidate her or talk your way out of fighting her.

 

As I approach the turn, my game flickers for a second, then crashes every time without fail. I tried uninstalling various addons one at a time to try to figure out which one is causing the crash, but I haven't figured it out yet. In frustration, I uninstalled all of my addons then loaded the game. At this point, I was able to go up to her and kill her. I then saved, loaded up my addons and loaded the game again. As soon as the save loads, the game crashes. I haven't encountered any error messages or anything and this is the only time I've had my game crash on me since I've installed it.

I've cleaned all of the IDM and UDR records, so all of those are clean now. I'm not exactly sure what the Bash Tag suggestions are just yet, I'm still looking around for a solution.

I know I'm late to the party, but from all I've gathered, it's Scenic Carriages that causes the crashing around Lake Ilinalta.

did you clean the man bethesda .esm's before you loaded up mods?

Have you created the appropriate leveled list bash patch and load it last in your load order?

Thank you, this was exactly my issue. it was scenic carriages that made my game crashy.

 

I'd stay away from that mod and try touring carriages instead...
