Body replacer confusions

I've searched around and have found many threads addressing issues with specific body replacers. My issue are the replacers in general, to be honest. I'm quite honestly just a bit lost and overwhelmed.

While I can get the basic Type3, Breeze Males, and Children of the Wasteland to work without...too much trouble; I was hoping to go above and beyond.

I think ultimately I'd hope for a mod that included the various body types (with bouncing) and applied different ones to different NPCS while I stuck with my breeze body; but I do not know if such a mod exists or is even possible.

Beyond the different bodies where the changes are quite obvious; cup size, enlarged butts, etc; I can not tell what the difference between most of the variations and compilations.

Then there is the issue of all the various textures and cosmetic patches. It seems I excel at doing something wrong with them as I'll end up with all sorts of odd looking hair/skin/clothing issues. Two overlapping player bodies for example, or NPCs that will be fine one moment but end up with hugely clipping hair the next time I enter the cell.

If any of you would be kind enough to offer your insights and recommendations, it would be very very appreciated.
