Skyrim SE fps capping issue

Hello!

 

I'm currently experiencing the issue of Skyrim SE capping fps I had a full mod list and when I would run through Mod Organizer it would cap at 37 fps exactly. I ran it vanilla from steam and it caps at 45 fps exactly. I don't run SLI GPU and

since I has started troubleshooting I have:

• completely deleted the Skyrim Instance in Mod Organizer
• Reinstalled Skyrim numerous times
• reinstalled my graphics driver clean
• made sure vsync was turned off in Nvidia Control Panel
• checked to see if my pc was in power saving mode

Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated if anyone would like I can add you on discord and screen share for some testing thank you!

I will give a try mate, could you please check your skyrim ini files in this adress:

 

(vanilla)

 

User\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition

 

and

 

(MO2)

 

MO2\profiles\(your profile name, "default" by default)

 

and look for fps locking settings ( I dont remember what was it ). I recomment that copy vanilla one and writeover the MO2 one.

 

Some times your vanilla ini settings and MO2 ini setting may stay different. I had that.
