SamPerez96
Ok, I am at my witt's end with this. I am trying to install "Breezehome FullyUpgradable". With the mod installed, my game will crash to desktop every time I try to open the Breezehome. This mod is not the only one that does this to my game. Any other mod that is supposed to change the inside of Breezehome will make my CTD every time I try to go in there. Any suggestions? have been going crazy trying to fix this. MShoap13
Are you running Hearthfires? If yes, then the mod isn't compatible with Hearthfires. If no, then the mod probably requires Hearthfires.
Ygfbv
make sure you're using the right version of the mod. it has different versions depending on whether you have hearthfire, dawnguard, or none of the dlc you should also revalidate the cache for the game in steam, could have a broken file somewhere or something, or you could be on an old version of skyrim (might have disabled updates by accident or something). bben46
Only one Breezehome mod should be installed - any mod that tries to change the same thing as another can cause a crash. Be sure any previous Breezehome mod has been completely removed - then start the game and make a new save far away from Breezehome before installing a new one. Making a save inside of a modified cell, then removing that mod can also cause a crash. Always go elsewhere in the game, make a save, close the game - remove the mod, start the game, make a new save (don't save over the other one.) THEN check the cell (in your case the Breezehome interior) If everything is OK, move away from the location - go all the way outside of Whiterun and make another new save - then close the game and install the new mod. Then start the game and check to see if the mod is working properly.
