minifly
Huge favor to ask of anyone, I have many internet woes and as a result due to where I live cannot download big oblivion mods. So my question is thus, can anyone burn a DVD for with a couple of big mods on it and mail it to me. I would eternally grateful to whoever does this. The Mods I want are FCOM and Qarl's Texture Pack 3 - Redimized. Thank You and if you can do it email me at [email protected] for my address. Thanks a Million x2
Killslasher
I don't really get it. If you have an email address, why don't you just ask someone to email you the file instead of having them use up a blank CD and mail it to you? I mean, you have internet, and you have an email address, so really, there would be no reason for anyone to have to burn a DVD. Good luck in getting those mods though! AdamV
Is your download interupted often or do you have slow-ass internet? If your download gets interupted alot I'll download the file, split it and upload it to a ftp for you and then you can just get a download manager and slowly but steadily download it. If you have slow-ass internet I'll look into burning it onto a dvd. I'd prefer to go with the ftp method though as I am a cheap male without a father
BossDweebe
Correct me if I am wrong, but email takes as long, maybe longer ,than downloading directly.I have had to tell friends and relatives to stop sending emails with big attachments etc. because I amon dial up, and it hangs everything up when a large email starts downloading automatically. Still, I have sole access to my connection so I can still download most files, but I still stick with files under100 Megs. I really hate it when I have a file stuff up after 6 hours of downloading. AdamV
Thats why you should get someone to split it for you or to upload it to a ftp server/torrent it so you can resume if it freezes
