Compression for terrain textures in Paint.Net

Hi all. I've been away for some time but have started a new project and need some hints.

Starting with a new landscape texture. I have the .dds files normal and diffuse. The diffuse isn't that big a few k so I guess it won't need compressing. The normal I will compress using Paint.Net. Is, from memory now, BC7 (Linear, DX 11+), Speed - Slow, Error Metric - Perceptual, Generate Mipmaps is ticked, Super sampling - selected from drop down menu, the way to go?
