DeaconRage
I'm trying to add custom sounds to GECK but have so far been unsuccessful. I read that its almost impossible to add new sound to the game but has anyone figured out how to? I can't seem to import sound.bsa's or anything for that matter. LordNighthawk4
what kind of "sound" do you mean?
DeaconRage
I'm building a Predator mod and I have designed the cloaking field to work as the pip-boy 3000 flashlight. I sound edited the Predator Cloaking and De-cloaking sound effects and wish to use them instead of the flashlight on/off sound. Not only have I not figured out how to replace the sound correctly but I can't seem to import the custom sound files or .bsa

Yossarian22
Same Problem here I just can't get imported soundfiles to run. I always convert them to the fallout3 format, but no matter wav or mp3, they dont play. Would someone please tell me what I do wrong? Or have someone a link to a free converter, that definitly makes a fallout3 compatible format? thx

I thought it would be as simple as dropping the wav file into the same place as the voice sound files for the NPC's. Sorry I cant help with your question, but I will keep my eyes out for an answer too because I was planning on importing sound files as well. LordNighthawk4
music is mp3 in 192kbit. if you want to import wav it HAS to be recordet in 32000hz, 16bit mono. create a new sound, add the file, CLOSE the box and reopen it. then the sound should play. natalie73
I'm trying to add some new voices to my game, I searched around the forum and found this thread and I see you mentioning .wav format, but the voice files are all in ogg vorbis format, what specific formats work with voice files, what do they have to be converted to?
