Robbery dialogue

Perhaps a mod for this may exist (I haven't found it yet). I am thinking a of simple mod where the player can threaten a traveler (possibly also shopkeeper) for money, similar to the way bandits stop you on the road. Two simple outcomes - (1) They give you the money OR (2)They aggro and fight you. Both outcomes would obviously result in a bounty for the player.

This idea came to me when starting a new playthrough. I'm now working on an evil/thief character and am really wanting to have a more varied ways to harass the townsfolk, without simply resorting to killing.

This is actually quite nice idea.

Some thoughts:

How you "persuade" your target?

Really good equipment. Possibly "Best" doesn't mean it's most intimidating. Thieves guild/DB would be most intimidating, whereas heavily armored knight would result in different outcome. (More of it later)

Really highly skilled. Master swordsman, fearless mage. If your skills are high enough, person would be intimidated.

Good speaker, A bit similar to above. You could either persuade or intimidate enemy to give out their goods. (Persuading and intimidating could allow different outcomes? If you're good guy (Robin Hood), you'd persuade and would get jewelry, gold. intimidating would result in things like weapons, clothes, armor)

How does your target act?

Cover his head, if knight in black armor says "GIMME YOUR MONEY", you'd most likely be afraid and cover yourself instead of kindly handing out the goods. (Which happens soon after enemy has covered himself)

Run away, second option what happens if man in heavy and encumbering armor says "GIMME MOAR MONEY". It'd be a decent choice.

Simply giving all "small" items. jewelry, coin.

Highwayman- style, target gives all equipment.

Probably not so easy mod to do. After all this would need wholly new characters just for this mod, as there is not too much travelers around the roads by default.

Anyhow, Good idea, I hope my thoughts add a bit more stuff to it  (or give more ideas for modder)

I don't think combat related skills should matter because people can't know how good your skills are.

But I agree with the persuade and intimidate thing, the opposite sex trait could also count for this (some sort of "charming / seductive thief").

This could lead to some funny conversations where woman try to slap you first but maybe (skill dependent) getting more and more addicted while you convince them.
