"Shotgun Diplomacy"

I am requesting a mod that would add a shotgun to the game similar to the "Mirage" except a 20 gauge version. I have looked in the game for a similar shotgun but as of now have not found a 20 gauge shotgun that is compatible with the "Mirage" shotgun. I like the "Mirage" shotgun but would like a 20 gauge version of this gun. A possible name for it could be "Mirage-X" for the 20 gauge version.

 

I hope that a versatile mod builder could put this together and add it to the game.

Doesn't anyone want a 20 gauge "Mirage" shotgun? After playing this game through many times I would like to explore the different versions of the available weapons but after playing the games using the 12 gauge "Mirage" I find it to be an excellent weapon but I still would like to try a 20 gauge version of the "Mirage" shotgun to use in the game after taking the "Shotgun Diplomacy" perk.

Did you read the original post? I am asking for a "20 gauge version of the 'Mirage' shotgun". As far as the functionality of the gun, I would have to assume the same characteristics would apply except for the larger load(s) ie 12 gauge versus 20 gauge ammo.

I did read the OP but your second post confused me because I don't recall ever seeing a Mirage shotgun in the game. Remember that you specifically said "after playing the games using the 12 gauge "Mirage" I find it to be an excellent weapon." If it actually exists, then it would be very easy to create a 20 gauge Mirage since all you have to do make a copy of the Mirage info in Geck, change the ammo to "20 gauge" and rename it Mirage-X. Maybe tweak the ammo and damage but all-in-all it would be a simple stats mod to make.

I am not talking about the hunting shotgun at all. That said, all I am asking for is a 20 gauge version of the "Mirage Shotgun". I am not a modder and know very little about modding. That is why I have posted this here on the "Mod Request" threads. If you are a person that builds mods then please make a 20 gauge version of the 'Mirage' shotgun and call it "Mirage-X" and if there are any necessary tweaks to the ammo or modifications for the weapon that also. If I could do this I would attempt it myself but I do not have the necessary knowledge to do so.

Or to rephrase: Where did you get the Mirage shotgun that you mentioned using in your second post in this thread? You wrote this:

The original "Mirage" 12 gauge shotgun is located on Black Mountain in the storage shed. It is inside one of the containers inside the storage building. BTW ... if there was not a 12 gauge shotgun named "Mirage" why would I ask for a 20 gauge version of this gun?

That Mirage shotgun came from a mod. Can you link which mod? I say mod because there's no mention whatsoever of a Mirage shotgun in the game:

So that points to the Mirage shotgun you're talking about coming from a mod. As for your question, I see plenty of times here in this subforum people who request different versions of items that don't exist in the game yet. Not to mention people do have nicknames or different names for certain weapons in the game.

It looks like it is a part of the NVEC mod and from a hidden file Nordic Weapons that is now part of the NVEC mod.

 

If I would have known this weapon was added by a mod I would have stated that initially but only found out tonight which mod added this weapon.
