Realism MOD

all are noted and written down, although there's something i found out last night when i just got back from my class

 

the BIGest problem in the mod is if I were to change the name of original item [i.e. chinese assault, bullet names, projectile names] it makes it crash.

 

so due to this problem I will try to change the name to the appropriate ones as much as possible, there will be a lot of these items that will still have original names due to crashes. [still cant figure out why name changes crashed it tho]

@pyropaul: could you pm that reply u made to me? its easier for me to write it down, credit will b added for fixing references. also do you happen to have reference for their bullet speed in either feet/s or m/s the stopping power and weight, fire rate, and clip amounts and variants please PM me for those ok? i'll get right on it :)

 

to all: the combat armor in game will not deflect as much damage as you'd think. the problem is........

.. the combat armor in game mesh does not protect your whole body

.. the combat armor is designed in the game to have a somewhat bullet resistant

.. to easily explain this i will show it to you like this

ar rating:........25 - 29........................3 - 5........................less than 5.............................45 - 60

durability:.....120 - 160...................150 - 220......................85 - 140.............................160 - 200

 

and yes there wont be a single armor in game that can make you feel godlike!

power armor only gives you an amazing defense, but nothing godlike at all :)

you most likely have a conflict between your mod and another mod which only changes certian values of the weapons but not the name. the conflict is basically because your mod only wants to change the name keeping the same values, where as the other mod wants to keep the same name but change the values of that weapon...

 

So any mod which modifies any of the weapons you have name changes on will cause conflict with your mod.

 

only work arounds are either to include those mods into yours (in a way which i don't know how to), manually mimic their mod yourself, or remove their mod and acknowledge that your mod will conflict and give warning to your potential users.

well the problem is...

 

I always run these tests:

 

1. only the reality check.esp did this about 5 times

 

2. only the reality check.esp + texture replacer did this about 5 times

 

3. my regular mods this one about 15 times

 

and.... ALL of them results in crashes... i hope it doesn't conflict with the .esm XD

that's why i'm reverting back to the ZiP's Gruesome wasteland.esp

I don't know which .esp that is, but whatever version you have up for the BETA is a good version to work off of. That one works flawlessly.

allright then! i'm just gonna tweak here n there then!

 

by version 1.0 hopefully all the problems r fixed n at least 3/8 of the wasteland r optimized.

 

currently the places i've worked on r:

 

vault 101 entrance

springvale

springvale school

areas around megaton

super duper mart

areas around super duper mart

anchorage memorial area

areas around rivet city

rivet city market

areas around bethesda ruins

 

will be working on these on the next couple of days:

 

grayditch

DC mall

Capitol building

rivet city

Brotherhood of steel's A&B ring + lab

 

Hopefully these areas are the areas that most people got impact on FPS and this will

sort of fix it a bit. [i kinda did it because my friend got impact on certain areas too]

 

i found out major problem why FO3 is a lot slower than oblivion too [in terms of world objects]

i found out that FO3 is at least 2.5 times more dense with random stuff than oblivion [this is just the average]

in certain places it peaks more than 2.5, i.e. BOS A&B ring it peaked up to 3.5 in the comparison of size of the

area of course.

 

and this tweaks just getting rid of those random rocks that does nothing, misplaced stuff, fixing clipping on some

stuff bethesda made.

 

by the way, I'm really really sick lately, progress might be slower than expected. sorry :[

well, in the Beta version 2-3 shots would cripple people [if NPC shot you]

other than that your shot will almost always 1 hit cripple :) [considering you have 100 small gun skill]

 

on version 1.0 will have more tweaks :)

 

plasma is just based on researches made on plasma technology although it's not going

 

to be melting people as in real life. [also will not use a power generator as big as a house lol]

 

there will be MAJOR damage that plasma weaponry does.

 

also the plasma pistol won't be using energy cells anymore for ammo, it will be changed to electron charge packs.

 

if you are wandering about the comparison of plasma damage from vanilla and this mod is like this:

 

 

Vanilla Plasma-------------------MOD Plasma

........45.......................................135......

 

so 1 shot plasma will instantly throw back your opponent to the point that they cannot retaliate while

 

crippling their limb [torso will require multiple shots].

 

NOTE: The plasma effects of high damage and limb damage will also happens to YOU! :D

If you're going to make Plasma Weapons realistic, then give it very high damage because plasma is when atoms are heated until they lose all their electrons, leaving a highly electrified collection of nuclei and free electrons and most matter cannot withstand such high temperatures. And, also, since it'll be so powerful.. make ammo really scarce and expensive.

 

Btw, do you have a topic on the Bethesda Forum? Because I'm really getting tired of the IPS Driver Error.
