KatelynTuohy
Generic followers are very annoying when you stand still, if you have quite a few followers. They will often run into you and then complain about it. I cannot find any mod that adjusts follower behavior.eg. what things they do while waiting for you if you are standing still. Specifically I would like to disable them from running, and running into you. It seems there are at least 4 states they enter:1. Idle animation (this is fine)2. Walking3. Running4. Sitting Apparently Vilja follower has a superior AI for movement control that prevents her running into you. If there was a mod that could apply her AI system to all generic followers, that would be awesome!
DirebearCoat
Necro'ing this thread. Does a mod like this exist? Lydia, and other followers just stand still and don't do anything when your character is idle, or talking to an NPC. Serana is sitting in chairs, eating, cooking, using the alchemy table, etc., while she's waiting for my character to move. Is there a mod that does what the original poster asks? Because it is very annoying. My character was knocked off a cliff and killed because Lydia ran into my character and killed him. But also, when my character is idle, I'd like Lydia and other followers to do stuff..., like Serana.
anjenthedog
Maybe possibly No More Standing Too Close Haven't used followers in a while, but it's still in my load order, and I vaguely recall it reducing or eliminating that behavior in my game when I was using followers, fwiw
DirebearCoat
Thanks for your reply, but this mod doesn't work for the above problem stated in the OP. It's funny, that after running and stopping at the edge of a cliff, I've taken to stepping to the right or left, to avoid getting knocked off. And yes, Lydia and others had run off the edge of the cliff because of it... LOL
