SirNoobie
My suggestion for a new mod is a version of the old "Most Wanted" poster. Posters would be located on a board near the door to jarl's places, guard shacks, and inns/taverns Posters would serve two functions: 1. Provide an alternative method for receiving the bounty quests. So instead of having to go to a jarl or barkeep to get a bounty notice, they would randomly update in the form of Wanted posters you can see as you enter an inn or pass a jarl's place, etc- poster would include the standard information; who the bounty is on (giant, dragon, bandit leader, etc), who issued the bounty (jarl of solitude, etc), location, and also reward amount.- reward is collected at the jarl's place as it is currently- ideally there should be a picture on the poster (simple grey scale generic image, head shot or upper body or full body)- poster disappears when player completes quest 2. Make player-crimes a little more fun by having the player appear on these posters when his/her crimes have resulted in a bounty exceeding a certain amount (ie. 500gold)Similar details would appear on the poster, as would an image ("generic sketch" or specific player image ??)So for example: WANTED BY ORDER OF JARL <NAME> FOR CRIMES AGAINST THE PEOPLE OF <HOLD_NAME><PLAYER_NAME> :pirate: [PLAYER_IMAGE]<include bounty amount?>CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS. IF SIGHTED INFORM AUTHORITIES, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO APPREHEND Once player pays fine or bounty is lifted, the player-wanted posters disappear from these "bounty boards" Could add a little complexity by having shopkeepers and barkeeps refuse to sell/buy to a player while there is an active wanted poster of them (unless player uses Persuasion skill/perk to overcome the refusal) No need for additional voice dialog, a simple text such as; "This person refuses to interact with criminals like you" should suffice Could add more complexity by having more ruthless bounty hunter npc's go after player when bounty exceeds a certain amount Could add more complexity by having a chance that your followers will desert or even turn you in depending on how much the bounty is Could add more complexity by having player status as thane be reset if bounty reaches certain level. Maybe the player home is locked (ie. access denied) while the bounty is active. Or just keep it simple
