Is there a roadmap on the insides of content 1 to 10, DLC 1 to 16, bob and EP1

Recommended Posts

There are various scripts that are already present (without using mods) in the vanilla version of Witcher 3 (I play the enhanced version, 1.32). Now I try to look inside the scripts by uncooking them using the Wcc_lite tool. I went around to begin with the stuff in "content", only to see that there isn't one "content" file, but instead 12.
Additionally, there are 16 DLCs, and each contains a "content" folder as well - + a folder called "bob" and a folder called "EP1".

I have serveral questions:
Why are there 12 content-folders in the base game, each containing a bundle file?
The 16 DLC folders do probably correspond to the 16 DLC's available to the game - but what about the folders called "bob" and "EP1" - what DLC do they correspond to ?

And at last: Do the Scripts in a newer DLC folder overwrite the scripts in an older DLC folder?

  • content0 - content12 - vanilla files

Why? Probably was easier for developers to work with 13 pieces, instead of one.

  • DLC 10 - Wolf School Gear
  • BOB - Blood and Wine
  • EP1 - Hearts of Stone

Files from newer additions, generally don't replace old ones - they're additions, not replacements.

The ones that does replace, do it as in other games - newer replacements, override older bases.
