Weapon .nif Is Crashing Skyrim and Creation Kit

So, I'm currently in the middle of porting for my own personal use the Rotten Thorn weapon by MagpieGD into SE
That mod is here:

Already updated the esp, and then booted up the game to use it but after using Item search and highlighting it in the menu, ctd'd immediately.

Then I used NIF optimizer, that didn't work.

So I opened it up in CK again to see if the nif loads there, nope.

 

model loads fine in Nifskope, and the weapon works fine in LE but crashes in SE and CK

 

Here's the nif, if someone wants to take a look and see if there's a reason to the crashing:

I compared this nif against some custom weapons that I uploaded the only thing I could see was NiStringExtraData under your EdgeBlood I took that out and the model loaded fine and I was able to view and equip and trade. When I tested this I only loaded the model not the ESP but if you have a duplicate texture in your ESP that would also cause it to crash.

 

Recommend you try removing the NiStringExtraData under the edgeblood. It might be an easy fix.

 

 

BTW - The sword looks amazing! I didn't load textures but the mesh model is beautiful. Nice job on that one.

Thanks so much, that did the trick.

 

But don't give me any credit for the sword, it's all MagPieGD's work.

I'm just porting it to SE, may even post on the Nexus if I get permission to do so
