tx3000
I thought this topic was absolutely neccessary for people to know ahead of time so they are aware what was going on. It should become clear as you read why I created this topic. ================================ Even though I say this in my introduction of my video, I still thought it would be a good idea to let people know what was up with the video quality is as well as the screen resolution I had to use for making them. The video software I used to create the tutorials is a free software. So I wound up getting stuck recording them at my screen resolution which is 1440 x 900 at 75 hertz. So if you can manage to get your computer to those settings, then the videos can be best viewed at those settings, on Windows Media Player 11, in full screen mode. I did tried using multiple converters to try to shrink the videos, I even tried recording them at a smaller resolution, but regardless of what I tried, they lost so much quality that they wound up looking like complete and utter crap. So I decided to leave them as is. If you can't get your screen resolution that high, I came up with this solution:I found a video player that I have included with the videos that should allow anyone at any screen resolution to be able to watch the videos without any loss of quality. But just be aware that, the lower the screen resolution you have your computer set to, the more of the video your going to be missing. So watch them in the highest screen resolution as you can whenever possible. And just remember I was forced to create the videos the way they are now, so I had no control of the outcome. ==========================================I have 4 parts to my video tutorials and each part has multiple sections in it: Basic LessonsIntermediate LessonsAdvanced LessonsExpert Lessons Now don't let the names of the lesson types fool you because I don't want to mislead anyone about what the terms mean. I just don't want people seeing the word expert and thinking I covered something major so if they view it they don't see what they thought would be expert. So I want to clear up the terminology I'm used by this example:The expert section is would be classified as expert ONLY by comparing what's in the expert lessons, to lets say the intermediate lessons I previously did. It's still using the same types of techniques, just more advanced versions of them with added information. Again I just don't want people thinking I posted false information and misleading people is all. What exactly you are watching:Even while watching them you may not be aware of why they are set up the way I have them set up. Because my tutorials are not the same old average watch and learn tutorials. I very carefully thought out and set them up to do something specific, by placing the information in each segment, into a specific order, then placing the overall lesson types, in a specific order as well. By using what I believe to be the most useful aspects of the G.E.C.K. I made my videos the building blocks that will allow you to take the information from one lesson into the next. Because at some point you will use the information you learned from one segment, in another segment further on. Well if all goes well, I should be able to post all my videos at some point tomorrow night.
