Game crashes no error, mod related?

Hey, my game is crashing a lot lately with no error, I already did some INI tweaks regarding threads and some papyrus stuff and it still happens, could it be some mods not compatible with each and other and the game just exits? is like if I clicked alt+f4, i'am killing some mobs or just walking around on my horse and bam the game just exits

I would disable one by one but i' am afraid that it would screw up my save files or something.

Post your BOSS log (with the messages) instead, include the list of plugins not recognize by BOSS, enclose them in spoiler tags so they don't clutter the screen. Also post your system specs. Have you made any edits to the game ini files?

About the ini files, I used a skyrimconfig tool and only changed the ugrid and some more standard settings(shadow's,water LOD etc) and I manually added some threaded settings to the ini(textures,meshes etc to fix the stutter, which it did) also added some settings to papyrus regarding scripting which I did to try to reduce the crashes, no luck so far:(

 

The weird thing is I bought this graphics card weeks ago and before that I had a 260GTX with almost no graphics mods whatsoever and this crashes happened anyway, most of the mods are the same except the texture ones, I did a clean install for skyrim in this GPU, new save game and all that and the crashes still happen

Since you mentioned that you edited the ini files, post them here too (enclosed in spoiler tags also), and we'll look through them to see if anything is amiss.

 

What operating system do you have?

 

The CTDs, are they completely random or are some reproducible? Any discernible patterns at all (mostly outdoors, in interior cells, during combat, at specific locations or zones, etc.). The more detail you can provide the less difficult it will be to narrow down the culprit(s).

Operation System: windows 7 ultimate 64bits

 

The CTD, most of them are random but are certain locations that happen more than 1 time, between the stables and the bridge in Windhelm it crashed 3/4 times but then stopped i recall 2 crashing in the exact same rock in the forest near Riften while fighing wolfes, 2 random times in dungeons(separate ones) , one time in Dawnstar leaving the Jarl place immediately after leaving when started autosaving and some random ones but now the latest is a mountain on the way to Falkreath and Dark Brotherhood area, after/while fighting a group of vampires and bandits, already crashed 3 times without error and freezed twice, so I guess is getting worse, the Wildhelm one after those 3 crashes "fixed it self" I didn't pass there since. I think the most common crashes is while is auto-saving ,loading a area, mid-fighting or in a start of one.

Raising the ugrids can always cause random crashes. Generally don't mess with your ugrids unless you have a very high end pc with a high bandwidth graphics card, it can break saves.

yea, i'am aware of that that's why I only put on 7 but as I said with my old graphics(260gtx) I stayed at 5 and with just a few face/body texture mod's and whatnot it crashed, even around the same places.

 

Also my fps are almost steady 60fps( I only play at a 1600x900 resolution) it just dips to 40 in some areas but most of the time is 60ish

The formatting of your log posting is all messed up.....edit you post (no need to make a new one) and replace it. Do this: run BOSS, CTRL-A to 'select all' to highlight everything in the log, CTRL-C to copy, then CTRL-V to paste it here inside your spoiler tag.

So far I can see some 'absurdly high' values in your game ini settings. For example,

A common 'tweak' for addressing the distant LOD 'pop-in' that will stress your system and the game engine (the default value is in the 4 digit ballpark). There are a few others. Right now, I would advise going back to vanilla ini settings, which is optimized for 'stability.' A lot of the popular 'ini tweaks' are intended to boost 'performance', address minor graphic glitches (like distant LOD issues), or to make the game look more visually appealing, but do so by sacrificing the 'stability' of the game. So I suggest backing up your existing ini files, then delete them, and let the game generate new ini files on the next launch, as an initial step to try and stabilize your game. There are many causes for CTDs, and your CTDs are likely compounded by several different issues. We'll have to address every possible cause until your game stabilizes (then you can consider adding some minor 'tweaks' back).

Since the values for ugridstoload is stored in savegames, you will have to use a 'work-around' to continue with your current savegames after revert to stock ini settings. If you are not aware of the 'work around', I'll post back with instructions.

As for the INi my default value for fade is 10000000.0000 what number should i set it?

 

PS: Copy a Ini's from a guy who had a 7700 which is a GPU much weaker than mine and the game became a lot smoother even when loading background areas, but the ctd still occur less frequent but still do, so I guess it has to be mod related I just dunno which.

That's still not the right log. The one you need to post is the one that has the loading order of the plugins (esp, esm) as well as messages about them (bash tag suggestions, needs cleaning, etc.).

 

Just delete your current ini files, and when the game launches, it will generate new ones with stock settings. Don't edit the stock ini settings and just use them as you test the game so we can narrow down on the causes of the random CTDs are by eliminating the possibilities systematically.
