SirNoobie Posted April 24, 2013 Share Posted April 24, 2013 Presumably this could be a relatively simple re texturing job to create variations of the current mudcrab appearance. Add in some unique placement and behavior and this could be a fun little mod. (especially if you can have a cursing version of these :smile: ) Swearing Mudcrabs (by andokool12) is my favorite mod. I cruise the local streams looking for mudcrabs to fight so i can hear them curse. It got me to thinking, if there are mud crabs, why not other types of crabs that blend into their surroundings such as: Snowcrabs (from snowy plains to snowy mountain tops, be on the look out for those beady little eyes)Rockcrabs (plenty of rocks in skyrim for these guys to camaflogue themselves against)Grasscrabs (grass and/or fauna camaflogue texture)Firecrabs (dont get too close to that fire, you never know what might pop out!)Sandcrabs (less muddy, more sandy)Mosscrabs (hide among clumps of moss inside caves)Shadowcrabs (hiding where you least expect them)Treecrabs (handing out clawy death from above by pouncing on unsuspecting dragonborns from above. lol)Minicrabs (you get these if you use the wrong "adult themed" mod :smile: ) Behavior for each is similar - they hide in their surroundings and emerge slowly; shells, then eyes, then full body comes out claws snapping away (swearing or other audio optional) Having them spawn when dragonborn is standing in one place too long would be a good way to keep him/her on his/her toes. and give followers something to do with really zero risk to anyone.
