Byzantine Mod

Just an idea. No one has ever made any kind of Byzantine style mod for Oblivion.

 

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, the Byzantine Empire was the continuation of the Roman Empire (essentially it was the Eastern Roman Empire). Constantinople, its capital, was the Second Rome, and was the trade center of the known world throughout the Dark Ages and Middle Ages.

They had a very unique style in more or less everything. Some of you who have played Medieval: Total War or Medieval II: Total War may have played the Byzantine Empire in the game. You would notice their troops are unique among the factions, having unique units such as Kataphractoi and the Varangian Guard. Even just shaving unique Byzantine armor modded into Oblivion would be something new, cool, and unique.

I only have experience with the Construction Set, and I don't know the first thing about making meshes and not much about textures. I am simply pitching this idea to the community hoping a good modder or a daring modder might take it up.
