SilverNirvash
is there really no way they'll give support to a game they already have support for on the website? C'mon we need NMM support for dragonage origins otherwise installing these mods and managing them will just remain a nuisance! >w<
Thandal
The multiple types of mods for the DA-series, and the multiple ways in which they need to be handled depending on what they are, and the fact that it is impossible to tell from the file name exactly how and where any given mod needs to be installed, means that expanding the capability of NMM to those games isn't going to happen unless and until BioWare release much more complete information about the folder and file structure, and there is a much larger body of mods for DA2 (which would probably mean publishing a revised Toolset.) Since BioWare have already stated that DA3 will use the FrostBite engine (which is completely different from the Eclipse engine of DAO/DA2, there is little chance of them providing any further support for the modding community, and therefore little chance of the Nexus expending resources in this direction. (But yes, it would be nice if BioWare were more mod-friendly, and not just mod-tolerant. )
SilverNirvash
;w; noooooooooooooo that makes me so sad! whats really stupid about it all is that while they are mod tolerant they have a whole project section up on their own website! why would they approve of modding yet limit the mod developers to such a degree by giving so little information? ;w;
