ZableBlaze Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I've set up a basic NPC which has two packages, a sleep package which starts at 00:00AM and ends 9 hours later, and a travel package which starts after the sleep package. He travels to a chair which is a persistant reference etc. But whenever he's changing packages the game would just freeze. No matter what I try. I've tried disabling then enabling (this stops the freezing once, but freezes next time the package changes). Tried using it with different furniture, tried remaking the packages, tried changing the packages order.. Meh. Anyone have a clue?
mazakala Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 It would help if you gave some details about the packages, what flags they have etc. It would also help if you specified where the npc sleeps and where the chair is. I've made countless NPC:s with packages and I've never experience crashing. My guess would be that this problem is not related to the packages at all but rather the environment.
ZableBlaze Posted January 25, 2009 Author Posted January 25, 2009 It's a whole new environment that I've created myself, and navmeshed myself. For some reason, the crash only happens when the NPC wants to get out of bed. As for the package flags, they have none except the allow fallout behaviour (I've based the packages after Nova seeing as how mine didn't work). I wonder if this could be a navmesh problem with the bed. My Navmesh goes around the bed not through it, unless navmesh is meant to go through objects like that? Thanks if you could reply. Edit: I've tried changing different beds. I've tried naval cot and hotel queen sized bed. If that matters at all.Edit2: It only seems to happen when I'm in the same cell with the actor.
