IBYCFOTA
RadeonPro has integrated SweetFX, SMAA and FXAA injectors; no need to fool around with d3d9 files. You can have 'em all enabled, all disabled or a mix. It also has tweaks that allow you to pre-set the affinity of games, so there's no need to go in the task manager and do it yourself. You can modify the quality of mip-maps. Main three reasons that justify RadeonPro. All of those things can be done without the use of Radeon Pro as you alluded to. A little more work, but nothing significant, and I doubt SweetFX or certain AA injections are going to sway people towards one side or another. Pre-setting the affinity of games does little to nothing in terms of actual performance, and something like Razer's gamebooster can achieve more or less the same thing. I can't comment on the mip-map features of Radeon Pro because I've never used them and never heard anybody mention it when discussing RP. It's probably not anything significant. There are legitimate reasons to go AMD, most notably the price / performance is unrivaled, especially taking into account the game bundles in place. If I had to choose between a 680 and a 7970, I'd take the 7970 in a heartbeat. However if I had plans to upgrade in the future to Crossfire or SLI, it's a no brainer right now. SLI is much better. We'll see how AMD addresses this issue next month with their highly anticipated Crossfire fixes.
skyscap3r
I'm very sorry for my absence, everyone! After not getting any responds within a month, I stopped checking this post (foolish, I know). But, I still haven't made my final decision yet and just recently I have been searching the internet. I'm getting close to buying the Radeon 7870 due to my budget.I'm only trying to find out that is it compatible with my computer, already wrote about that one on another forum.Funny how I just now checked my email and saw 10 responds on this post I thought I'd never get replies on. I just read all of them and they were each of 'em helpful. Thank you, they didn't go to waste!
skyscap3r
Can I have some opinions on the ATI Firepro?
FiftyTifty
The firepro graphics cards are made for 3D programs (Maya, 3DSMax, etc.). They offer much better stability and framerates in said programs, but their performance in games is abysmal when compared to cards at the same price point. That being said, the most expensive firepro GPU outpaces the 7970 in games. It costs several times more, however.
skyscap3r
Yeah, true. But I just encountered a problem with my PC; I can put a GPU in there that takes only one slot from the board. I can't put one that takes 2 slots otherwise it wouldn't fit inside (not enough space). So, I need to get a GPU that takes only one slot from the board and costs at the maximum of 300€.. EDIT: make it 250... I'm poor :( Edited June 26, 2013 by skyscap3r

My computer case is so small that the GPU has to be less than 7 cm of its height, otherwise it won't fit. I'm in a bad luck here. Basicly I need a Gpu which -takes only 1 slot from the motherboard-the height needs to be less than 7cm-the prize doesn't exceed 300€-is more powerful than HD 7660D I thought AFOX would be pretty good, I'll continue searching, thanks. EDIT: What do you know of Nvidia's Quadro GPUs and their performance in games?2nd EDIT: I found the perfect one, http://www.afox-corp.com/en/products_details.asp?proid=208 all I need to know is THE HEIGHT and how large power supply it needs...
