Valheim plus removal

guys I installed valheim plus a while ago and uninstalled valheim because I did not like the server I had joined and wanted to remove it. I have reinstalled Valheim from steam but the plus keeps starting and I can not play as my new server is not plus.

how do I remove the plus?

go to your valheim folder and look inside BepInEx/Plugins and delete the .dll file. v+ is horrible despite it's reputation. good move to get rid of it.

Thank you so much, I uninstalled the game three times trying, what a headache! Fixed now.

You can disable Valheim+

 

Go to your Valheim folder (you can do this in Steam by right clicking on Valheim -> Manage -> Browse local files)

 

Edit doorstop_config.ini

 

The first entry controls whether or not Valheim+ runs. Set it to false to disable the mod:

yeah i had to uninstall it too, after only installing 6-7 mods my game wouldnt let me jump even using a new keybind, then after uninstalling the mods, it deleted all my worn equipment. so i lost my full iron set lvl 3 upgrades and all my tools. kinda irritated about that because it took all my reserve stores to make all new tools and armor. guess im just going to stick to playing vanilla valheim. good thing the game is great and super addictive even in vanilla state.
