there was an awesome mod for oblivion that allowed the player to own and manage a shop in the game. the things you would sell in the shop are all the unwanted pieces of gear and weapons you didn't want with probabilities for things to be purchaced over the course of a day based on rarity vs merchant skill (would probably have to be based on charisma for FO). its a great mod and screams to be ported to FO3, NV and Skyrim.

i do know of one mod where you could run a store out of Freeside but its just not the same. in that mod YOU are the store clerk and you order goods through a computer terminal. its cool but i don't want to play clerk, i get enough of that IRL.
