Smosh
lets take this tactical smg mod for example. at-http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3183 the ini. i changed was called FALLOUT and it was in my user folder/ documents/my games/Fallout 3. when i got the mod i put the data folder into my fallout directory which makes the 2 data folders automatically combine. i dont think the mod came with a archive invalidation but if it did i would have put it in my ArchiveInvalidation folder in my fallout directory. Yep that's all you need to do. Using FOMM enable just one of the esp files for now. I see that there are 3. I'd choose the 10mmTacSMG.esp. Now when you go to a shop it should be available to buy assuming you are level 6 or higher. You just made bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 in the ini? Smosh
yes i changed it to bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 in the ini. im lvl 20. and when i open fomm there are NO! esp's. For me using XP and default install, all my esp's are in C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data Can you see the esp file in your Data folder? If it's not there where has it gone to? If it is there my only other thought is that FOMM isn't searching the correct folder and I don't know enough about FOMM to tell you how to fix this. Maybe uninstall FOMM and reinstall it again? neunen
just to be sure, did you check the mod off the list in FOMM before starting up fallout?

jdfalcon93
I think my computer is completely crazy, and no, there is absolutely no trace of the esp's in Fomm or the fallout launcher
Smosh
I think my computer is completely crazy, and no, there is absolutely no trace of the esp's in Fomm or the fallout launcher As long as the esp's are in your (assuming you're using XP) C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data folder I can't see any reason why they won't show in FOMM or the Launcher? Does the Fallout.esm show in either of these? Is it possible to show a print screen of your Data folder?
