Crossfire = flickering tree/building shadows, OBGE problem?

As the title says, turning on Crossfire results in flickering for tree canopy shadows and shadow on/near buildings. From searches, some people think this is caused by OBGE v3, but no solutions are mentioned. I've certainly narrowed it down to Crossfire being the problem -- using only 1 GPU always fixes it and turning on 2 always causes problems. Does anyone know of another solution? I'm using the standard OBGE 3.0, not 3.1 RC, for what it's worth.

I don't think it ever worked properly with crossfire. I had no problems with MGE or OBGE on a single card but as soon as crossfire is enabled its was a no go for me. With OBGE I also got the same shadow flickering on tree shadows as you are explaining.

Update: I tried using Crossfire profiles. Wasn't sure if it was obse_loader.exe or Oblivion.exe that I was supposed to select so applied it to both. "AFR-Friendly" doesn't remove the flickering, but "Optimize 1x1" does. However, I did some FPS testing and neither of those two nor the default setting (no application-specific profile) show ANY improvement with Crossfire. Therefore I guess the issue is 'resolved': Crossfire is worthless so I may as well turn it off. Is that normal, by the way, to get no benefit from two cards in Oblivion?

hat is really strange. I don't think Oblivion has a crossfire profile, but if I remember correctly Radeon Pro has one for Oblivion. You may be able to gain performance if you try Radeon Pro with oblivion though I am not sure. The last time I tried Oblivion on my system it took it an insane amount of tries just to get it to launch properly, which is too bad because I really enjoyed that game.
