Too bright at night

Hey Everyone

 

Recently my Skyrim decided it would be really bright at night, and I have no idea why.

 

At day time it's not too bright either.

 

Heres a comparison from a save a while back, the first is from the load screen so you can see how dark it used to be, and then what its like now:

I've tried uninstalling mods that affect lighting, and even things that change meshes and nothing has made it darker.

 

Any help would be appreciated

That's what it's like in Vanilla when the gamma is upped to a level where it makes days look like there is actual sunlight.

 

What you could do, is just lower the gamma. But that'll make daylight too dark.

 

I made a mod that should make nights quite a bit darker, and days quite a bit brighter. I'd recommend experimenting with the gamma slider if things are too bright.

 

Uploaded it just for you, by the way. Wasn't planning to release it.

It's still odd that my game has suddenly got brighter.

 

Also my gamma/brightness setting is only a third of the way, and changing it doesn't make much of difference.

Thankyou very much, your mod has made it the perfect lighting at night, it's a bit too bright during the day but I can deal with that.

If it's too bright during daylight, just slide the Gamma slider a tad to the left.
